Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper who has a unique style. Baker was born in Houston, Texas U.S. on the 22nd of April 1990 to parents of English Scottish German descent. In his first years, Baker traveled along with their missionary parents. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker along with his father moved to Denver, where they lived in the home of his father's Aunt. Others in the community had a tendency to bully Baker because he was poor. As he entered the sixth grade, Baker was able to study the art of rap. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. The music he creates is a fusion of modern, alternative hip-hop along with rock. Prior to joining Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to the year 2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered songs at the speed of a speeding bullet experienced an explosion of popularity when in 2011, he switched from self-released tracks to well-known labels. The career of this Cleveland rapper soared after he released his first mixtape at the end of 2011.
