Maria Bartiromo, an American TV journalist and the first to broadcast on the New York Stock Exchange floor live, is a highly acclaimed television personality with several famous shows. An experienced broadcaster with more than twenty years of experience covering economics and business, she was instrumental in establishing the TV channel CNBC as being among the most prestigious on the market in the economy and business segment. Her incredibly successful career as a journalist can be said to suggest that the female was always destined to work in this field. Maria struggled with picking a path she wanted to follow as an adult woman. At one point she wanted to sing, and then the next day, or an interior designer. However, once she experienced the excitement that journalism has to offer there was no going at her. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in the United States and has worked professionally for 27 years. A gifted thespian, she has been working in the world of professional acting for the last 27 years. Her first stage appearance was in 1990, when she performed an Off Broadway version of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. Then, in The Perfect Tribute, she had her debut TV role one year later. In 1992, she received her big break when she was cast in Basic Instinct as a supporting character. The Firm marked her first role as a female leading actor, playing opposite Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she collaborated with several prominent industry actors, including Gwyneth Palow in Sliding Door Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes Julie Andrews Relative Values. Most recently, she played her character of Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
