Andressa Urach
Andressa Urach was just fifteen when she began her relationship with Tiago Cost. After three months of romance, the couple moved into his home. Arthur Urach Costa was born in May 2005. The couple broke up in the middle of their six-year marriage because of divergences. Andressa later moved into her mother's residence with her child. Then, after six-month separation she lost her position and chose to send her son back to father to seek a life of greater opportunity in Sao Paulo. Being vain, ambitious and a very self-confident woman, the principal reason she left her homeland in the South to go to Sao Paulo, was in seeking fame and wealth. Andressa Urach writes in her memoir Morri Para Viver about the sexual abuse she suffered by her foster father that occurred between the ages of 2 and 8. The only way she was able to escape from this was getting out of this mess since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the abuse and Andressa returned to live with her mother, who did not know about the abuse she endured until Andressa released her book. Interviews with the woman confirmed that it was impossible for her before her change of heart. Forgiveness of her victim was something she believed to be was impossible. It was one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make. I contacted the man that sexually assaulted me. It was not an easy decision. After several prayers and the vows to fast, I contacted him to say I was sorry and asked for forgiveness. Then I asked for forgiveness and did not justify my actions. Mariste Urach explains in an interview with Globo about what she was feeling when she learned of the abuse her daughter had endured. Urach went to the city in Rio Grande do Sul where the perpetrator lived in order to take justice.
